Meet Doctor Cramer, DDS, MS, MBA: Your Smile Engineer
Before becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Chris Cramer spent over a decade as a mechanical engineer – a foundation that shaped his precise, solution-oriented approach to orthodontics.
But what truly sets him apart is the heart he brings to his work. Dr. Cramer genuinely cares about his patients: He takes time to listen and explain, because every smile is different, and your experience matters just as much as the outcome.
With advanced degrees in dentistry and orthodontics, board certification, and leadership roles at both the state and national levels, he combines deep expertise with a grounded, compassionate presence that helps patients of all ages feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.

Nikki
Office Manager
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nikki brings nearly two years of experience in the orthodontic field. She holds an associate’s degree in Business and earned her dental assisting certification from the Matrix School of Dental Assisting.
Nikki keeps everything running smoothly: she handles financial coordination with patients and parents, and is always ready to step in and support the team when unexpected challenges pop up. Outside the office, Nikki loves exploring new places with her husband, Mario, attending church, cooking and baking, doing her nails, and spending time with her dog!
Kristin
Scheduling Coordinator
Kristin was born and raised in Canyon, Texas, and has called the Dallas-Fort Worth area home for over 23 years. Drawn to the dental field by her love for meeting people and seeing new, straighter smiles, Kristin is often the friendly face you’ll see when checking in or scheduling your next visit. She also helps coordinate with other dental offices, sending chart information and making sure communication stays seamless.
Kristin loves the fun, welcoming vibe at Cramer Orthodontics, and in her free time, she’s all about family; spending time with her four kids, hanging out with friends, trying new restaurants, and going on girls’ trips.
Lany
Orthodontic Assistant
Lany is a Denton native and Southmont Christian graduate who recently joined the Cramer Orthodontics team as an orthodontic assistant in training. With her outgoing, friendly personality, she’s quickly become a favorite among patients and team members alike.
Outside the office, Lany is active on her church’s worship team and participates in a wide range of service opportunities. Her hobbies include playing golf, horseback riding, and strumming her guitar while singing along.

Your time is valuable, and we believe your appointment should be a conversation, not a race. We’ve optimized our schedule so that when you arrive on time, we can focus entirely on you—ensuring you’re never rushed and always have time to get your questions answered. Because we reserve specific materials and time just for your smile, your commitment to your scheduled time helps us keep your treatment on track.
A Schedule Built Around You
To help you minimize time away from school and work, we’ve carefully designed our day:
- Morning & Late Afternoon: Reserved for quick, 10–20 minute check-ins so you can get back to your day.
- Midday: Dedicated to longer, more involved procedures that deserve our undivided, focused attention.
For school absences, don’t stress about the paperwork. If you bring your child in during school hours, we will provide an excused absence note.
Change of Appointed Time Scheduled
Call us in advance to any regular appointment to alert us to any problems. We will need to schedule an appointment to repair the situation, and this often requires more time than a regularly scheduled appointment. Canceled appointments with less than 24-hour notice or no-shows may incur a missed appointment fee.
